- No electricity and no cellphone signal. A true escape.
- A walk to a nearby hilltop will provide good signal for all you phonecall or data needs.
- Powerbanks are supplied (one in the unit, with a spare available for swapping).
- Gas and battery powered appliances (geyser, fridge, stove etc…) towels, bedding, hot water, coffee, sugar, small box of milk, rusks, etc.

Here everything embodies what, for me and Anrié, is the essence of our lives.
Everything in the Karoo, its simplicity, the silence, the clean air, the breathtaking end of the day, the busyness of the cool early evening, the gentle night sounds, etc.
Along with all of that comes the little treasures: the snacks, the braai, homemade bread, jam, butter, strong coffee and rusks, a warm bath with a view, etc.
Even the encounter with you Karoo people was special. BRAVO!!!
